Briljent has been appointed as the prime contractor for the Nonpoint Source Pollution Project with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. This is Briljent's second contract as a prime contractor with the State of Indiana this year, in addition to the many other contracts on which Briljent partners with other firms. They will be working in conjunction with the Wisconsin-based environmental firm, Symbiont. Briljent will be responsible for conducting public meetings and writing a plan for curbing and controlling nonpoint source pollution. This type of pollution stems from diffuse sources and can be found throughout the country in varying degrees.
