On August 23, Briljent met with the Little River Wetlands project, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) land trust founded in 1990 with the goal of restoring and preserving wetlands in the valley of the Little River, a headwater tributary of the Wabash River in Allen and Huntington Counties, Indiana.
Eagle Marsh, located in Briljent’s own backyard, encompasses 683 acres and is the largest preserve in Allen County, the third largest restoration in Indiana. With Fox Island County Park and two nearby private preserves, it creates a 1,500 acres habitat for birds and other wildlife, including many that are imperiled.
