Briljent Awarded Multi-Million Dollar Contract

Briljent is pleased to announce the recent award of a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, to support their virtual contact center strategy. Briljent and their subcontractors will be providing a variety of training, content, and independent quality assurance support for Medicare's Beneficiary Contact Centers. When asked what this means to the company, Kathy Carrier, President & CEO, stated, "Only 0.4% of the businesses in our country ever grow to $10 million in revenue. With this contract and a recent win at the state level, our firm will exceed that in 2008. This is a significant accomplishment for an entrepreneurial company. Briljent will have over 70 people supporting this contract from Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as Baltimore, where our client is located. We have a motto that we never, ever, ever give up and, in this case, it served us well."

The contract has an 18 month base period and four 12 month option periods for a total of 5.5 years. John Guingrich, Vice President of Government Services for Briljent and owner of the project explained that, "Our job is to provide the beneficiary contact centers with the tools and content needed so that their representatives provide responsive communication, allowing Medicare beneficiaries to make informed decisions. We are honored that our efforts should impact 44 million Medicare beneficiaries."
