INTRAIN

Briljent just recently entered into a contract with the Division of Disability & Rehabilitative Services (DDRS), a division of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), to provide support as the Fiscal Intermediary on the Indiana Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training Initiative project. This is a three year project with a purpose to improve the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities.

The Briljent team will work with the administration, providers, and advocates to achieve the desired outcomes for this project. Project goals include standardizing training, increasing recruitment, and improving retention for direct support professionals. Partnered with Clifton Gunderson, Bischoff Performance Improvement Consulting, and Engaging Solutions, the Briljent team has the personnel to provide comprehensive and professional fiscal intermediary duties to the State.

This project, evolving over three years, will allow the Briljent team to provide services including the responsibility to track fiscal issues, distribute funds for achieving billing requirements, manage assigned personnel, analyze the data to achieve outcome measures, and provide proposed pricing to achieve DSP desired outcomes. The project will initially work with 9 pilot agencies (ADEC, Arc Bridges, Cardinal Center, Carey Services, Opportunity Enterprises, Options, Passages, Pathfinder Services, and Stone Belt) and, in later stages when funds are available, it will be extended statewide.
