Briljent is pleased to announce the addition of Seaport E to our contracting vehicles. Through partnership with Haverstick Consulting, DTI recently added Briljent as a sub contractor to their Seaport E team.

Haverstick Consulting, Inc., based in Carmel, Ind., offers technology and business consulting services that help its clients build their organizations by delivering measurable improvements to the public and private sector. DTI Associates, based in Arlington, Va., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Haverstick and provides ISO-9000 certified engineering, technology, and professional services to a wide range of government customers, including the U.S. Navy, NASA and the Departments of Labor, Education and Agriculture.

According to Kathy Carrier "This partnership provides U.S. Navy customers easier access to Briljent's core capabilities and allows us to support the vision of both Haverstick Consulting and DTI."

Briljent LLC, is a woman-owned, SDB and 8(a) certified business that provides key services to national trade associations, governmental agencies and corporate clients in the areas of technical writing and documentation, curriculum design (classroom and computer-based), learning assessments, staff augmentation and training facilitation. In 2003, Briljent capitalized on an opportunity made available through state legislation allowing them to build relationships, knowledge and contracts at the state level. This strategy resulted in nearly 40 contracts in two years.

After a two-year focused effort, Briljent also became certified as an 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business with the U.S. Small Business Administration in June 2004. These designations are part of Briljent’s strategic business plan, granting the firm the ability to be considered for various federal contracts, a strategy that is expected to bring tremendous growth to the organization.
